Horsetooth Ache, FCRA race - 2015-10-03
The Horsetooth Ache is the longest rowing race in the US, almost 14 miles from the South Bay Boat Ramp to the north end of the reservoir and then back to the South Bay Boat Ramp. It was organized by the Fort Collins Rowing Association. The race started at 8:00am and finished about 10:30am. I was able to shoot from safety boat number 3. Paddle boards, single boats, 2-man boats, 4-man boats, 6-man boats and 8-man boats competed in the race.
