|We will try to show you a few of the exciting events happening in Fort Collins and the Front Range of Colorado. Fort Collins is the music capitol of Colorado. The Bohemian Foundation and the Downtown Business Association sponsor music festivals like FortOberfest, Taste of Colorado and the largest music festival of all, New West Fest. CSU sponsors the Lagoon Series, the city of Fort Collins sponsors the Fourth of July concerts, and the Bohemian Foundation sponsors Streetmosphere all Summer long. Summer is festival season along the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains with harvest festivals, car shows, air shows, the Realities for Children Rally and Ride and even a Pooch Plunge. Fort Collins is very bicycle friendly, with many multi-use bike trails, Cyclocross, Criteriums and the famous Tour de Fat. The Rocky Mountains are popular for hiking, camping and enjoying the wildlife and scenery, and we even have our own baseball team, the Fort Collins Foxes. October brings the haunted houses and the Zombie Crawl in Old Town Fort Collins, and we have Haunted Ghost Tours in Old Town year round. If you are looking for indoor entertainment try the Lincoln Center for opera or ballet, the Museum of Discovery, the art Galleries, or one of the many brewery tours in Fort Collins.
