Swim Beach at Horsetooth Reservoir South Bay Campground

The South Bay Campground has a day use area that includes a swim beach. Entry costs $7 per car load. The swim beach has a nice roped off swimming area, sandy beach, volleyball nets, changing rooms, showers, bathrooms, covered picnic area with tables and lots of parking. The beach is not a sandy ocean-like beach, but it is sand and dirt with few rocks. The sand is deeper by the volleyball pits.
